Me:

I'm your average teen with a love for baking. I started my junior year as a means of stress relief. There is something so therapeutic about whisking and measuring, and nothing is as comforting as the smell of fresh baked cake. Mmm...cake.
I drove my parents nuts with the messes I made and the left-overs that haunted us for weeks (I believe will still have some homemade graham crackers in the pantry from last month). But the need to appease my sweet tooth is great, and so Bitty Baking was born. I often rely on the bible "Small Batch Baking" cookbook, which has the perfect portions of favorite treats. I also scour the web for new small-batch recipes to try. I am a bit of a health nut and although it pains me to use 1/4 cup of butter, I still believe homemade is better than any commercial crap baked goods you can buy. I try to use whole wheat flour when possible and maybe once I get the feel for the recipes, substitute healthier ingredients. Until then, I'll rely on small portions and lots of exercise to balance things out.

Bitty Baking refers to the tiny yields of my recipes. It's somewhat ironic as I am petite, so take that as you wish ;) I'll always give credit for recipes and offer unbiased reviews and thoughts on them. Enjoy!
